We designed a solution which improved overall efficiency, reduced line rental costs and saved them a whopping 23% on their call charges. Here's how we did it.
By introducing a solution which incorporated:
- ISDN Telephone System
- Auto Attendant/Voicemail System; and
- DECT cordless handsets
Meant the company's customers benefited from:
- DDI to direct customers to the correct department and individual
- Voicemail to take messages and provide customised information
- Improved speed of contacting key personnel by using the DECT cordless option
- Clear upgrade path for future enhancements
The company also benefited when they improved their overall efficiency by routing all calls, faxes, email and internet access through the new system, rationalising the number of lines connected to the site which in turn significantly reduced the cost of line rental.
Add this to the extremely competitive call tariffs we provided which resulted in a reduction in call charges of 23% and you have a more efficient and profitable entity.
Cutting costs for a rapidly expanding manufacturer. Over 18 months a leading manufacturer had gone from strength to strength expanding over three remote sites and were about to acquire another two sites. The expansion caused call handling difficulties and they were concerned these issues would only get worse with the introduction of the two new sites.
We installed an IP Wide Area Network that allowed the company to answer all calls at one site. At the same time a Voicemail system was introduced to manage messaging, and hot desking gave staff the freedom to move freely between sites without missing a single call.
With the IP enabled WAN in place, all inter-site data was routed through our switches. This increased productivity and provided further savings for the company.
